CCC CROSS COUNTRY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK I JUSTIN KIPLAGAT

CORVALLIS, Ore. –No. 12-ranked Trinity Western University's Justin Kiplagat was named the CCC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Kiplagat, a fourth-year business student from Nairobi, Kenya, had an outstanding run at the WWU Bill Roe Classic. He completed the 8K in 24:06.2 to win the race. He led the 130-person field while also leading the Spartans to a second-place team finish.

Kiplagat and the rest of the Spartans will have a couple of weeks off before returning to race at the Western Washington Padden Invitational at Lake Padden Park on Saturday, October 24 in Bellingham, Wash.
