LANGLEY, British Columbia – In this week's U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, the Spartans women's soccer team is listed at No. 8 after a win and a loss in the Canada West conference openers at home in Langley, B.C.
The Spartans split their opening weekend, earning a 1-0 win over the Fraser Valley Cascades while dropping a 2-0 decision to the No. 1 UBC Thunderbirds at home at Chase Office Field.
The 1-1 Spartans will now head out on the road for two away matches. TWU will start the weekend in Prince George to face the UNBC Timberwolves on Friday, September 11, then head to Victoria to face the Victoria Vikes on Sunday, September 13. Both matches can be seen live on Canadawest.tv.
