Anton brings 5 years of Corrective Massage Therapy experience to Body Smart Health and graduated from Georgian College in Ontario, was licensed in Ontario before moving to British Columbia and is now registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia (CMTBC). As a RMT and sports enthusiast, Anton is dedicated to healing people with progressive therapeutic treatments and manual therapy as a way to achieve an active healthy lifestyle for his clients. Anton has been working with the Athletic Therapy team at Trinity Western University and assists in treating TWU’s national sports league teams for Volleyball, Basketball and Soccer for pre and post matches.
Through his personal experience and sporty lifestyle he has been prone to physical sports injury, strains or day-to-day posture misalignment – so he knows first hand the value of proactive, dynamic and corrective massage therapy and shares the same vision as Body Smart Health. Before his move to BC, he worked as a licensed RMT in Ontario treating chronic low back pain, MVA (motor vehicle accident) injuries, fibromyalgia and pre/post events sport massage.
anton_workAnton’s treatment philosophy is to take a holistic approach to establishing the root cause of an ache, pain or strain. Although treatment varies for each individual he utilizes manual therapy techniques like Neurokinetic Muscular Screen and Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release, Joint Mobilization, Soft Tissue Release, Trigger Points therapy, patient education and remedial exercises in his dynamic and corrective treatments.
He is passionate about living an active lifestyle, playing basketball and enjoying snowboarding in the BC mountains.
