Katia Sanon is the Assistant Athletic Therapist for the Spartan varsity teams since August 2016.

In 2013, Katia completed a diploma in Exercise Science from Concordia University (Montreal), specializing in Athletic Therapy. She became a Certified Athletic Therapist approved by the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association (CATA) the same year. After graduation, she became the assistant therapist for the Citadins of the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM). She gained experience in her field by working with varsity athlete's from different sports.

She took the Soft Tissue Release course and continues to deepen her knowledge in manual therapy. She believes that her educational and professional journey has given her a solid foundation on which she plans to develop a career and undertake new goals in the field of sport.
