"We are pleased to announce the addition of Verity to our women's disc golf program for this next season. She has three years of experience in the sport, has competed in eight Professional Disc Golf Association sanctioned events, and has a current player rating of 702. I already know Verity will be a valuable piece of our program because of who she is as a person and her addition will allow us to grow to having two women's teams this year."

"I'm excited to be getting the chances to grow as a person and a disc golfer at TWU. I'm also looking forward to taking my game further and getting to dedicate more time to improving as a player. Mostly, I'm excited to grow closer to my teammates and coaches and learn from them."


Zion white

COACH CHRIS HARTMANN
 
"We are very pleased to have Zion joining our program this year. She is a two-time provincial junior champion and has competed in 12 Professional Disc Golf Association sanctioned events over the last three years. Zion has a current PDGA player rating of 802 which, for comparison purposes, would have placed her in the top 15 at this past years national championship. In meeting with her and her family, and watching her compete, I know we will all benefit from the quality of her play and, even more importantly, who she is as a person."

"I never could have imagined I'd be playing a varsity sport that I didn't know about for most of my life, but it's a joy to say I'll be joining the Spartans disc golf team. I've been blessed by the love and support of all who have helped push me to this point in life and in this sport."
