Trevor Pridie

Pridie, who hails from Abbotsford, B.C., joined the Spartans in 2019 after spending the previous year as an assistant coach with the Raptors 905, which is the Toronto Raptors G League team. With the Raptors 905, Pridie was the Head Video Coordinator for the 2018-19 season, while also being involved in day-to-day practices and working in player development. In the summer of 2018, he also coached with the Toronto Raptors NBA Summer League team, working with NBA players during practices and assisting in workouts.

Beyond his recent work with the Raptors developmental teams, Pridie has also been part of the Raptors training camps in each of the last four seasons.

Prior to joining the Raptors organization, Pridie was the Head Coach and Program Director for BC Bounce from 2011 to 2018, leading a grassroots program, which trained more than 1000 kids each year.

While with BC Bounce, he spent time as an assistant coach with the University of the Fraser Valley men’s basketball program from 2015 to 2017. Pridie was also the head coach for the senior boys basketball team at W.J. Mouat Secondary from 2014 to 2016 and was a Basketball BC Provincial Team coach from 2011 to 2014, helping lead the U14 and U15 boys teams.

Pridie has an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a Bachelor of General Studies from the University of the Fraser Valley.
