LANGLEY, British Columbia– Trinity Western’s Ava Van Santen (Abbotsford, B.C.) is the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week after leading the Spartans to a best-ever third-place finish at 7’s series tournament this past weekend at Thunderbird Stadium in Vancouver, B.C.
Van Santen helped the Spartans to a 1-2 record on Friday, including the program's first-ever win, 15-10, over the Lethbridge Pronghorns.
