LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western cross country runner Constance Nankivell (Edinburgh, Scotland) has been named the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week, after opening the 2024 season winning the Pacific Lutheran University Invitational.
Nankivell led a strong Spartan performance by winning the PLU Invitational for the second year in a row after finishing with a time of 20:28.4 overt the six-kilometre course. Her time bettered her performance from last season by nearly 34 seconds (21:01.1).
Nankivell and the rest of the Spartans will be back competing again this weekend when they travel to Bellingham, Wash. For the annual Bill Roe Classic at Western Washington University.
