QUOTABLE
Cheryl Jean-Paul – TWU Head Coach
"Tonight's game was a tough way to end the weekend but it takes a lot of small positive and consistent moments to compete with a team like Calgary. We played 50 good minutes of defense this weekend. I was especially impressed with our second quarter tonight, but when we held them defensively or they hit a scoring drought we needed to respond with some quality finishes and that was lacking today. We have a lot to learn from and we have some great building blocks to move into next weekend at home."

NOTABLE
•    TWU and Calgary each had 10 second chance points.
•    The Spartans had entered the weekend off their first win of the season (63-52 over UNBC).
•    TWU's last win against Calgary was Jan. 12, 2018 when the Spartans won 88-76.

NEXT UP
The Spartans are back on campus next weekend as they will host MacEwan Nov. 29-30 at TWU's David E. Enarson Gym.
