QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Ryan Hofer
"It's nice to be back in the Events Centre. It's nice that we could have a crowd and be able to play in front of family and friends. It's nice to compete and have an opponent other than yourselves. And it's nice to just see our girls come out and play after a year and a half of not being able to compete. To be able to go out and play real volleyball was a treat.
"I'm really pleased with the effort from everyone. We found a different rotation and a different lineup each set. Everybody did a nice job and it was a fun game to be part of."
NEXT UP
The Spartans will host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack next Friday and Saturday night. Match times at the Langley Events Centre are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 4 p.m.
