LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fifth-year outside/middle
Kaylee Plouffe (Sherwood Park, Alta.) is the Spartans Female Athlete of the Week after being named a U SPORTS national championship tournament all-star in helping to lead the Spartans to a fourth-place finish at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
The human kinetics student finished the championship with 40 kills, 29 digs, and six blocks in the Spartans' three matches.
The Spartans finished fourth at the championship after beating UBC 3-0 in the quarterfinals, before falling to Alberta 3-1 in the semifinal and Brock 3-2 in the bronze-medal match.

As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 11 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens.
