QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Ben Josephson
"A way better performance by UBCO today. Conversely, when your opponent plays better, they make life harder for you as well.
Â
"Tonight felt like a Canada West second-night grind. You beat a team the first night, then they have all of the motivation and knowledge to make adjustments, and they did it. They're a team that is on the rise, exploiting some stuff that we knew about, and some stuff we didn't know about. We'll have to address some of those things on video in the next couple of days, then put some planning into our practices to figure out how we don't lose points.
Â
"All preseason I've been stressing that we need to be better than we were yesterday, which we were in some ways, and finish better than the way we started, which we also did.
Â
"Really awesome contribution from
Isaiah Olfert (Winnipeg) off the bench. He came in during the fourth and was lights out.
Cory Schoenherr (Waterloo, Ont.) got his first U SPORTS action today as well.
Â
"Now we regroup and head into the Blue Team Cup."
