KAMLOOPS, B.C. – An extra-time goal by Thompson Rivers fifth year forward James Fraser lifted the home team WolfPack to a 1-0 victory over the visiting Trinity Western Spartans Saturday evening at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, BC
The win was an important one in the Canada West standings. The result moves both the 'Pack and Spartans to a record of 3-1-4 on the season where they sit in a tie for first place in the West Division standings on 13 points.
TRU outshot the Spartans 14-7 on the night and controlled a majority of the play, but resolute defending from the visitors appeared to be sending both teams home with a share of the points before the heroics from Fraser.
