QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Cheryl Jean-Paul
"Tonight was a tough loss but such a great learning experience to be in a close game situation so early in the pre-season. They were able to exploit some areas that we definitely have to improve on and we knew they would keep going to those looks until we stopped them. We weren't able to do that tonight and let things slip in the second half, but we will build on this and continue to work through end of game situations and execution on offense as well as the defensive rotations and decisions that we'll need to rely on heading into league play. We responded to their physicality, made our mark on the O boards, and had some great creation scores to build on but a really good game to review and fix some defensive habits."

 NEXT UP
The Spartans will finish off the tournament tomorrow when they will match up against the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
