ANDERSON SCORES IN LOSS TO MANITOBA

WINNIPEG – Trinity Western fell 4-1 to Manitoba on Friday at the Wayne Fleming Arena.
 
One goal from TWU's (3-4-0) Brooklyn Anderson (Shellbrook, Sask.) stood as the only marker the Spartans scored on the night.
 
AS IT HAPPENED
The Spartans struck first as Anderson entered got to the low slot with ease off a feed from . Still, the Bisons were itching to make things happen, getting in for a goal just before the period's end to end the first 20 minutes at one goal apiece.
 
The Bisons proceeded to score two unanswered goals in the second period, bringing the score to a 3-1 lead in favour of the home side.
 
No goals were in the cards for the third period besides an empty netter scored by the Bisons, providing a final score of 4-1 in favour of the home side.

  • The Spartans are 0-3 all-time against the Bisons. TWU has never played a home game against U of M.
