Adam Schriemer – Interim Co-Head Coach
"In the first set, it was pretty back and forth until Mathias (Elser, Calgary) went back to the service line in the middle section of the set and we pulled away from there. The second set was a similar story – it was back and forth before Issy (Olfert, Winnipeg) went to the service line and had a great run that created another gap. In the third set, we were able to play really clean and create an opening down the stretch.
"For the most part, I'm really happy with how clean we played. Our service pressure was good and our transition was pretty efficient. We'll now have to get recovered and get some rest, as we'll have a good game tomorrow against the home team."
