QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Mike Shearon
"Happy with the performance tonight, disappointing that it ended 0-0. I thought they controlled the first half. We had a few quality chances as well, ones that I think we could've scored.
"We played a lot better in the second half – creating a lot of chances in the areas we want to create chances in. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the final product.
Thomas Powell (Coquitlam, B.C.) hit the cross bar. Good performance from Alex Cordeiro, who made a number of key saves. A good debut for
Jordan Low as well.
"Overall, a good first step. We need to regroup and be ready to go for Sunday again."
