QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Mike Shearon
"Happy with the performance overall and happy obviously with the result. Obviously, we would have liked to have had the shutout but, UFV is never going to give up, they are not built that way and they have too much pride to let that happen. But we have to redo it all again on Sunday and it will be a completely new day, and we have to go in there and finish it off."
On breaking out
"A couple of things got going for us tonight. Luca has been playing well and has been hot. And there has been good energy within the group since the beginning of the second half against UBC-O."
"We are moving the ball and we are keeping it pretty well, and we are feeling good on the ball. We have talked a lot about getting things on target and good things happen. So that was helpful and there was a little bit more composure in the box today. There probably should have been a few others that we should have scored on where their goalie made a big save or we just didn't play something completely right."
"Keishean's goal was different class and that is what he is capable of."
"I think there is a confidence within the group that has been scoring and hopefully, that confidence continues to grow as we get into crunch time of the season."
