QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Mike Shearon
"I thought that we started off well and we had a lot of the play in the first 15 minutes. Then we scored and I felt like we stopped doing what was helping us be successful. And it was probably a bit of a wake-up call for them and they started to move a little bit more and take some of their pressing seriously. We have to learn to be the same team over and over again over the 90 minutes. It is learning for this group. We are missing a few guys who started last night, and we were a bit heavy-legged and we need to continue to learn how to manage these games."
"We struggled a little bit with our ball retention and playing passes that we can receive in the areas that we want to receive them. Which I think was part of being a bit tired and it being early in the season and not completely game-fit and completely tuned in mentally. But overall a good weekend and we will take the wins."
