QUOTABLE
TWU head coach Michael Shearon
"We have put a good run of games together where we've done well, and we have started to buy into some of the things that we need to do to be successful. Tonight, I honestly thought we were sluggish in the first 45 and I'm a bit disappointed, based on, some of the things that we committed to, that we talked about, and that we know that we need to do to win games."

"To give a goal up that early and everything else that happened, it's not the way that we want to go about things. But at the same time, I'm super proud of the group to not hang their head, to get back at it after giving up the early goal, and we should have scored almost right afterwards."

"In the second half we came out and got the goal that we needed and probably could have gotten another one. Overall, I'm happy with it, to go into a weekend like this and grab four points out of it, it's nothing to be ashamed of. But obviously still would have liked had the victory."

AS IT HAPPENED
The Cascades opened the scoring in the fifth minute. Playing near the far-left post UFV's Bhagvir Sidhu took a chip off a cross from Mateo Brazinha and found the open net to beat TWU's Petri and put Fraser Valley up 1-0. It would be the only scoring of the opening 45 minutes as both teams ended the half with five shots, and UFV having a 3-2 edge in shots on goal. The Cascades also had a 3-0 edge in corner kicks.

Roxburgh got the equalizer in the 74th minute. Charles Nana took the ball up the left side of the park and found Roxburgh just outside the six. Roxburgh took a touch to settle the ball and then found the lover right corner to tie the match at 1-1.
