QUOTABLE
TWU head coach Cheryl Jean-Paul
"Definitely a tail of two halves. I think that we made a great statement at home in the first half and over the last few weekends, we have seen a greater sense of purpose in Friday's games. ?It was unfortunate that that slipped away in the second half, but it still goes to show you how hard it is to win games at this level. You can have an amazing first half and still battle to win the game by the end of the second half. If you don't repeat the good things that you were doing and recognize the push that the other team is gonna make. So, this now allows us to see if we can battle two nights in a row, as Saturday games are not easy. ?Everyone in this conference is finding ways to get splits, so our objective is to see if we can push back on that and not necessarily try to repeat the first half, twice tomorrow, but just recognize what it takes to win the little battles that we can find a way through this. So, for the team that we have and the inexperience in certain positions and recognizing that some of them are playing a lot more and in much bigger roles than they have in the past, they are finding ways. It just doesn't feel comfortable and we have to learn how to thrive in that space."?
