VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans opened the University of Victoria "Keg Cup" tournament with a 3-2 (4-3PK) win over the UBC Thunderbirds Saturday afternoon in Victoria, B.C. The victory moves the Spartans onto the gold medal match Sunday afternoon.

Christian Rossi (Surrey, B.C.) scoring the tying goal late in the second half.
