QUOTABLE
Brynden MacTavish, TWU Assistant Coach
"It was great to be tested early in our first preseason match. I thought the team responded really well to having pressure put on them in a tight game. Sydney Gill (St. Catharines, Ont.) did a really good job with our offence and Maryn Boldon (Okotoks, Alta.)  looked really strong attacking-wise and got us some big points. Kaylee Plouffe (Sherwood Park, Alta.) was solid and we got some really good contributions from players who came off the bench, with (Isabelle) Musholt-Ko (Vancouver) and Tayana Dmitruk (Surrey, B.C.) playing well as our double-sub. Overall, I'm really happy with the evening, as we start to learn how to play together as a group this season."
