LANGLEY, B.C. - Trinity Western beat the Regina Cougars 94-86 on Friday, adding one to the preseason win column.
Connor Platz and Marcus Shankar led a balanced team scoring night, and Caleb Gremaud returned to the lineup after missing the majority of the preseason due to a fractured wrist.

Trevor Pridie, TWU Head Coach
"It was a great exhibition game for us. We got up a couple times and they made runs, we got pressed and had to deal with that. Anytime you get an opportunity to close out a game early in season it's a great experience. Awesome to have Caleb back, he brought energy and was a big factor in the win. We have a lot of work to do but nice to get a gritty win and show some poise down the stretch. Connor was great down the stretch for us, he made some big plays "
