LANGLEY, B.C. - Trinity Western battled the Lethbridge Pronghorns on campus on Saturday. They closed out the preseason with an 88-78 victory.
Â
Contributions came from all over the lineup, as Jack Vandenberg and Marcus Shankar were lethal from beyond the arc. Connor Platz was huge inside, while Caleb Gremaud and Tyus Devries added a nice spark off the bench. Â

Trevor Pridie, TWU Head Coach
"Another gritty win tonight. We came out strong and hit shots, built a good lead early, but credit to them—they fought back and made it a battle. I'm proud of how we stayed composed down the stretch and closed the game out playing the right way on both ends. These are the kind of games that test you, and I think we showed a lot of toughness and togetherness in these past two preseason games down the stretch. Connor was really good and once again down the stretch made big time plays. Awesome for freshman Logan Stewart to get this kind of game early and be on the floor to close a game out. I was very happy with him on the defensive end especially."
