LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fourth-year guard
Cassidy Buchanan is the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week after averaging 19.5 points/game in helping to lead the Spartans to a weekend sweep of the Thompson Rivers WolfPack this past weekend in Kamloops, B.C.
On Friday night, the human kinetics student finished with 24 points, four rebounds, and four assists in the Spartans' 64-37 win over the WolfPack. Then on Saturday night, Buchanan had 15 points and four rebounds in the Spartans' 67-44 victory in Kamloops, B.C.
Cassidy and the Spartans now head back home to Langley next week, taking on the UBC Okanagan Heat. Game times on Friday and Saturday night at the Langley Events Centre are set for 6 p.m. (PT) and 4 p.m. (PT) and can be seen live on Canada West TV.
