SPARTANS RALLY FALLS SHORT AGAINST LAVAL

LANGLEY, B.C. – Trinity Western's lost 3-2 (25-20, 25-22, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9) to the Laval Rouge et Or in a non-conference match Wednesday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre. 

Trailing 2-0 in sets, the Spartans rallied to force a fifth set, but it was the Rouge et Or scoring the first four points of the final set to seize early momentum. The visitors never trailed the rest of the set as they hung on for the five-set victory. 

The Spartans beat the Rouge et Or in three sets on Tuesday night. 

UP NEXT 
The Spartans will return to Canada West regular season action Jan. 9-10 when they host Thompson Rivers at the LEC.
