QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Cheryl Jean-Paul
"The defensive response was the statement we were hoping to make today. We knew offense would be a tough go but really happy with our ability to limit the same type of easy scores they got yesterday. This game was more than just the outcome today, we needed to make our statement of the importance of playing together as a team and finding that identity that we can confidently step into playoffs with and the team's desire to play for each other was really evident. This group has worked hard to be a playoff team this season and I'm really proud of their statement knowing how much we had to learn and grow to get that figured out. It's not something we are taking for granted and look forward to learning more about what it takes to be that kind of team in our conference over the next few days."
