CORVALLIS, Ore. – For the sixth consecutive year, The College of Idaho Women's Cross Country team was predicted to take the Cascade Collegiate Conference title yet again, announced Friday by the conference office.
With 10 first place votes, C of I was chosen to hold its spot on top of the poll with 141 points. Last year the Yotes won their sixth straight and 11th overall Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship.
Lewis-Clark State College claimed the No. 2 spot with the final two first place votes and 123 points while Eastern Oregon University ranked No. 3 with 118 points. Southern Oregon University ranked No. 4 with 113 points and Oregon Tech rounded out the top five with 85 points.
The Evergreen State College earned 79 points followed by Corban University at No. 7 with 71 points. Northwest University ranked No. 8 with 57 points and Bushnell University received 55 points.
Trinity Western University (42 points), Walla Walla University (29 points), and Warner Pacific University (19) completed the poll in the No. 10-11 spots, respectively. Trinity Western and Warner Pacific's new programs aim to make an immediate and significant impact in the conference.
The 2025 CCC Cross Country championships are slated for November 7, hosted by Corban in Salem, Oregon.
