Chery Jean-Paul, TWU Head Coach
"This weekend was a great staging ground for regular-season prep. Split weekend, two tough opponents with different styles of play and a very quick turnaround. Overall, some great steps forward for our team this early in the season. We saw some promising offensive and defensive playmaking and went punch-for-punch with a very good Alberta team. Unfortunately, we really didn't capitalize on the close score in the last few minutes, but we are excited that we are already talking about end-of-game management. It requires a better attention to detail that we are now chasing."
