TOP TEN RANKINGS

LANGLEY, British Columbia – In this week's U SPORTS Top 10 rankings the Spartans men's volleyball team remain as the lone Spartans' team in the Top 10. The women's volleyball team drops out of the rankings after a weekend split with the UBC Okanagan Heat. The Spartans men's volleyball team remains at No. 2 after splitting two five set matches with the No. 3 UBC Okanagan Heat this past weekend in Kelowna, B.C.
 

The Spartans won 3-2 on Friday night winning 21-25, 27-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-11 and lost on Saturday night 3-2 losing 25-18, 22-25, 26-28, 15-11,
 
The Spartans men's volleyball team is off this weekend and will return to action February 6-7 when they host the Saskatchewan Huskies.

As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 11 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens. TWU also competes as in the NAIA in track and field and cross country and as an independent team in men's rugby and women's and men's disc golf. Since TWU entered U SPORTS in 1999, the Spartans have won 14 U SPORTS team championships and 33 Canada West team championships.
