QUOTABLE
Chris Hartman – TWU head coach
"The word that comes to mind about their day was course management. Many of the holes today were a bit tough to birdie, with small mishaps that can easily turn into bogeys, or worse. With these challenges, Hannah and Verity limited the number of bogeys to two and found four birdies, including the final hole - a long uphill par 5 to a small Island green. Tomorrow, they jump over to the Winthrop Lakefront course on the campus of Winthrop University, the site of the USDGC each year. A very different type of challenge, and the first time the women's division has played this course at nationals. Tee off time is mid-afternoon at 2:30, which will also be a new experience. They're up for it.
