LANGLEY, B.C. – Sheleena Wiley is the Spartans Female Athlete of the Week, presented by West Coast Toyota, as she earned All-American honours with a seventh-place finish in long jump at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Wiley jumped 5.79m in TWU's debut at the NAIA national championships.
On men's side, for the sixth time in the 2025-26 season, Yemane Mulugeta is the Spartans Male Athlete of the Week, presented by West Coast Toyota.
Mulugeta won a bronze medal at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 5000m with a time of 14:20.26 to earn the Spartans first-ever medal at the national outdoor championships.
