LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western women’s soccer forward Mansha Sidhu (Surrey, B.C.) has been named the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week, after helping to lead the women’s soccer team to a Canada West Bronze medal and a berth at this week’s U SPORTS championship.
In the bronze medal win the second year business student had a goal and an assist, including setting up the game winning goal, and finished with three shots, and two shots on goal in the 3-2 victory over the Calgary Dinos.
Sidhu and the rest of the Spartans will now head to the U SPORTS championship November 7 at Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S.
