LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western guard Jerric Palma (Richmond, B.C.) has been named the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after helping to lead the Spartans to a weekend sweep of the Thompson Rivers WolfPack this past weekend at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
On Friday night the fifth-year masters' student lead the Spartans to an 84-63 win with 24 points, three rebounds, and three steals. Then on Saturday night, Palma had 17 points, six rebounds, and three steals in the Spartans thrilling 70-67 win over the WolfPack.
Palma and the 3-5 Spartans will now host the 3-5 Fraser Valley Cascades on Friday, November 29 at TWU's annual Home Court game at the on-campus David E. Enarson Gym. Game time is set for 8 p.m. (PT) and can be seen live on Canada West TV.
