SEATTLE – Trinity Western's
Oke Okumo (Airdrie, Alta.) finished fourth in long jump with a mark of 7.04m to lead the Spartans Saturday at the Husky Classic at Dempsey Indoor.
Okumo's mark puts him into the top 10 of the U SPORTS long jump rankings.
On the women's side, Constance Nankivell (Edinburgh, Scotland) impressed for the second day in a row, running the mile in 4:53.65.
In pole vault, Ana Fonseca (Mexicali, Mexico) cleared a season's best 3.67m to put her into the top 12 in the country.
UP NEXT
The Spartans will now prepare for the Canada West Championships Feb. 23-24 in Edmonton.
