PRINCE GEORGE, British Columbia – Trinity Western fourth-year forward
Charles Tchouya Nana (Calgary, Alta.) found the back of the net three times to lead the Spartans to a dominant 6-0 victory over the UNBC Timberwolves Sunday afternoon at Masich Place Stadium in Prince George, B.C. The win moves the Spartans to .500 at 4-4-1, while the loss drops the Timberwolves to 1-9-2.
In addition to Tchouya Nana, TWU got goals from fourth-year midfielder
Xander Roxburgh (Langley, B.C.), third-year midfielder
Jordan Low (Port Moody, B.C.), and first-year forward
Zachary Stead (Maidstone, England).
TWU third-year keeper
Alexander Cordeiro (Burnaby, B.C.) made five saves in the shut-out win, while UNBC's Logan Pierce made five saves in the loss.

The Spartans will now head home after a grueling first half of the season on the road where TWU played eight of their first nine matches on the road. The Spartans will now play five of their final six matches at home beginning next weekend with games against UBC Okanagan and Thompson Rivers. Their lone road game just down the road at Fraser Valley. Match times at Chase Office Field in Langley, B.C. are set for 7:15 p.m. (PT) and can be seen live on Canada West TV.

AS IT HAPPENED
The Spartans Tchouya Nana opened the scoring in the 27th minute on a fine individual effort. Nana took the ball from the left side of the park and found space about ten yards outside the top of Timberwolves penalty area where he sent a shot to the top left corner to put TWU up 1-0.
Tchouya Nana got his second of the match in the 34th minute. Nana took pass from xx and in traffic near the left post Nana was able to get the ball past Pierce to put TWU up 2-0.
Three minutes later, 37th minute, Tchouya Nana got the natural hat-trick with his third goal of the half. Off a free kick above the box and near the left side line Nana found the back of the net to put TWU up 3-0.
Roxburgh got his second of the weekend to put TWU up 4-0 just over two minutes into the second half, 48th minute. Roxburgh got the ball at the top of the box and in traffic found the back of the net to put TWU up 4-0.
The Spartans kept the pressure on as Low put the Spartans up five by converting a rebound from second-year defender
Kosta Adzic's (Burnaby, B.C.) shot off a Spartan break into the offensive end in the 54th minute.
Stead made it 6-0 in the 74th minute when he redirected a ball from Roxburgh on a Spartans offensive break. Roxburgh broke up the right side of the park and sent a low cross into the box where Stead found the short corner of the UNBC net.

- TWU outshot UNBC 14-8 overall, with a 11-5 edge in shots on goal.
- The Spartans had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
- On Saturday afternoon the Spartans defeated the Timberwolves 4-3 on Roxburgh's game winner is extra time.
- The Spartans are 14-2-8 lifetime against the Timberwolves.
- The six goals are the most the Spartans have scored against the Timberwolves. The previous high was four in a 4-0 win October 16, 2025 at Chase Office Field.
- The TWU record for goals in a Canada West conference match is seven, which the Spartans set in a 7-1 win over the Victoria Vikes on August 31, 2018 at TWU. The six goal win ties the largest margin of victory for the Spartans.
