QUOTABLE
Cheryl Jean-Paul, TWU Head Coach
"Today's loss was another tough one as our missed opportunities really prevented us from being able to counter Regina's second and third quarter scoring runs. They were able to get to the rim too many times, and our defensive pushback came too late. But with every game that we've played so far in this pre-season, we've discovered different scorers and scoring looks. Our challenge now is to find them all within the same game, rather than over the span of a few, and to understand the importance of finishing the easy stuff. Free throws, numbers advantages in transition, and great O boards weren't the solution they could have been today, so it's not for a lack of opportunity, we just need to capture the moments we're in a little better."
