TORONTO - U SPORTS announced the seedings and bracket for the 2025 U SPORTS Women's Soccer Championship, to be hosted by McMaster University in Hamilton. The tournament gets underway on Thursday, Nov. 6, and concludes on Sunday, Nov. 9.

As the Canada West silver medalist, the Trinity Western Spartans qualified for their 17th championship tournament, and their fifth straight. The Spartans, who have five national titles, will begin the tournament with a quarter-final match-up against the Toronto Varsity Blues. It will be the first time the Spartans have ever faced the Varsity Blues. Also on the TWU side of the draw are the Montreal Carabins (RSEQ champions) and the McMaster Marauders (host).

Trinity Western has appeared in 16 national tournaments and played in 10 national championship gold medal matches, winning five gold medals. TWU has earned 11 medals at the U SPORTS championships, five gold, five silver, and one bronze, and are 31-15-1 in 47 matches. The Spartans' first appearance was in 2004, when they won the first U SPORTS banner in Trinity Western's history.

The Spartans' match against the Varsity Blues is scheduled for a 5 p.m. (ET) kickoff at Ron Joyce Stadium at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont.

In women's soccer, the four conference champions are seeded in positions one through four, based on their conference's top finisher at last year's national championship. The remaining four teams are placed into predetermined spots in the bracket based on their finish in their respective conference playoffs, ensuring that conference finalists end up on opposite sides of the draw. National rankings play no role in teams' placement within the bracket.

The entire tournament will be played at Ron Joyce Stadium on the campus of McMaster University. The four quarterfinals will be played on Thursday as follows: (all times Eastern)

Game Day 2 is set for Friday and will see consolation games at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., with semifinals to follow at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The lone game on Saturday will be the fifth-place game, set for 5 p.m. Sunday will feature the bronze-medal game at 1:30 p.m. and the championship at 5 p.m.
