LANGLEY, B.C. – The No. 2-ranked Trinity Western's men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-19) win over No. 9 Laval Tuesday night in non-conference action at the Langley Events Centre.
After winning the first two sets, the Spartans fell behind 6-2 in the third set, but quickly rallied, roaring back to take a 7-6 lead. From there, TWU maintained control the rest of the way on route to the win.

Adam Schriemer, TWU Head Coach
"I was really happy with our offence. I thought Willem (Van Huizen) was great tonight setting, especially with his equal distribution. Laval's defence was really good, which was hard for us at the start. There were some mega rallies that we had to be ready for. I thought their outside hitter (Felix Antoine Perron) was just awesome. I coached him this summer (with Canada's U21 team) and he's going to be a star in this league and probably the front-runner for rookie of the year this year.
"But overall, I'm pumped for our guys. I'm happy to have a clean game after only training for only two days."
