BANDITS SELECT MUTABAZI IN CEBL DRAFT

LANGLEY, British Columbia– The Vancouver Bandits announced Thursday evening that the club has drafted Trinity Western fourth-year guard David Mutabazi (Delta, B.C.) in the annual Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) Draft.

Mutabazi was selected following a season in which he finished in the Top 10 in Canada West for rebounds (8.6), steals (1.9), and assists (3.9) per game while also averaging 12.6 points per game. The psychology student was selected 30th overall by the Bandits in the 2025 CEBL Draft.

Mutabazi is the third Spartan to have been picked in the CEBL Draft, joining Mason Bourcier (2022 - 18th, 2023 - 3rd) and Connor Platz (2024 - 24th). Spartan Jerric Palma was also picked in 2024 (17th) prior to transferring to TWU.
