LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans have moved up two spots to No.8 in the women's soccer U SPORTS Top 10 ranking. The Spartans moved up after defeating the Fraser Valley Cascades 2-1 at Rotary Stadium in Abbotsford, B.C., last Friday. In the men's rugby, the Spartans also move up two spots from No. 8 to No. 6 in the national coaches' poll after a 46-22 loss to the Pacific Pride this past weekend at Yorkson Community Park in Langley, B.C.
The 4-2-0 Spartans will now return home to host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack and the UBC Okanagan Heat on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 26. Both games have a 6 p.m. (PT) kickoff and can be seen live on

The 2-2 Spartans' next Coastal Cup match will be at home this Saturday, September 27, when they will host the Victoria Vikes in a key match-up. Match time at Yorkson Community Park is set for 2:30 p.m. (PT) and can be seen on the
