LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western midfielder
Jordan Low (Port Moody, BC) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after solid midfield play in the Spartans' match against the No. 1 (CW coaches' poll) UBC Thunderbirds.
In Wednesday's midweek match, the fifth-year midfielder played a full 90 minutes in the 1-0 loss to the Thunderbirds on the road and finished with two shots, while playing strong defense in the Spartans' midfield.
The 1-3 Spartans will now head out on the road for two away matches. TWU will start the weekend in Prince George to face the UNBC Timberwolves on Friday, September 11, then head to Victoria to face the Victoria Vikes on Sunday, September 13. Both matches can be seen live on Canadawest.tv.
