LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fifth-year defender
Adam Hajdecki (Surrey, B.C.) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after helping to lead the Spartans to a 1-0-1 weekend in the home-and-home series with the Fraser Valley Cascades.
On Friday, the human kinetics student had two assists and one shot on goal in 90 minutes in the Spartans' 3-2 win over the Fraser Valley Cascades at Rotary Stadium in Abbotsford, B.C., and then on Saturday played the full 90 minutes in the 0-0 defensive battle with the Cascades at Chase Office Field in Langley, B.C.
Hajdecki and the Spartans will now head on the road for their final two conference games of the season. TWU will match up with the Thompson Rivers WolfPack on Saturday, October 18 at 12 p.m. (PT) in Kamloops, B.C., and the UBC Okanagan Heat on Sunday, October 19 at 1 p.m. (PT) in Kelowna, B.C.)
