LANGLEY, British Columbia - Two Spartans have been named to the Canada West All-Star and All-Rookie teams after Trinity Western's 5-6-4 regular season and a fourth-place finish in the Pacific Division.

Adam Hajdecki (Surrey, B.C.), was named a Canada West second-team All-Star after a solid season playing the backline for the Spartans, while first-year defender
Gabriel Moore was named to the Canada West All-Rookie team after an impressive rookie season.

The Spartans will begin the Canada West playoffs on the road against the Mount Royal Cougars at MRU Field #2 in Calgary, Alta. Friday afternoon at 12 p.m. (MT) for their Canada West quarter-final match-up. The match will be streamed live on Canada West TV.

About Spartan Athletics
As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 11 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens. TWU also competes as in the NAIA in track and field and cross country as an independent team in men's rugby and women's and men's disc golf.
