LANGLEY, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans have moved up one spot to No.6 in the women's soccer U SPORTS Top 10 ranking. The Spartans moved up after a weekend sweep of the UNBC Timberwolves, 5-0 and 4-0 this weekend at Masich Place Stadium in Prince George, B.C. In the men's rugby, the Spartans remain at No. 7 after a bye week.
The 8-2-0 Spartans will spend their final two weekends of the regular season at home, with UBC in town on Oct. 10 and Victoria at Chase Office Field on Oct. 11 before back-to-back games at TWU against Fraser Valley Oct. 17-18.
The 2-3 Spartans' next Coastal Cup match will be at home on October 11, when they will host the UBC Thunderbirds. Match time at Yorkson Community Park is set for 2:30 p.m. (PT)
