CW RUGBY 7’S DREAM TEAM | HAILEY HIBBS

LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western second-year fly half/hook Hailey Hibbs (Langley, B.C.) has been named to the Canada West Rugby 7's Dream Team for helping to lead the Spartans to a third-place tie in Canada West Rugby 7's in Victoria, B.C. this past weekend.
 
The human kinetics student finished the weekend with two tries and 10 points as the Spartans finished the tournament with a 2-2-1 record.
 
Also being named to the Dream Team were Spartans teammate Kelsa Kempf (Langley, B.C.), UBC's Kiki Idowu and Olivia Sarabura, Victoria's Olivia Newsome and Ivy Poetker, and Lethbridge's Millie Teskey.
 
UBC finished the tournament in first place at 5-0; Victoria was second at 4-1, with TWU and Alberta third at 2-2-1, Lethbridge 1-4, and Calgary 0-5.
 
Hibbs and Spartans will now have a couple of weeks off before they finish the Canada West season with the final tournament of the season, March 6-7 at UBC in Vancouver. All matches can be seen live on Canada West TV.
