LANGLEY, B.C. – With optimism abound for an up-and-coming Spartans team, TWU will start the 2025-26 season with an exciting opening weekend, travelling to play Victoria Oct. 24 before coming back to the Langley Events Centre for a home-opening date with last year's Canada West silver medal-winning UBC Thunderbirds Oct. 25. The Spartans 20-game largely B.C.-based slate has Lethbridge as the lone crossover opposition from the Prairie Division.

SCHEDULE HIGHLIGHTS
• The 2025-26 schedule has TWU playing three games each against their Pacific Division foes, including UBC, Victoria, Fraser Valley, UNBC, UBC Okanagan and Thompson Rivers.
• TWU finished with a 10-10 record last season and a 9-9 record within the Pacific Division.
• The only cross-over weekend in 2025-26 is against the Pronghorns (Nov. 28-29), who finished sixth in the Prairie Division last year with a 10-10 record.
• After the Christmas break, TWU resumes its regular season schedule with similar opposition to how the season will have begun, with games against UBC (Jan. 9-10 at War Memorial Gym) and Victoria (Jan. 16-17 at the LEC).
• TWU has finished with a .500 record or better in six of their last seven seasons.
• TWU has a bye on the final weekend of the regular season.
